Project made during my internship at Label Famille (Paris). I worked on the visual communication of the art exhibit Socle.
Socle, just as the French writer Georges Perec in L’infra-Ordinaire, questions and tries to enhance the ordinary, and the everydaylife objects that surround us such as a toothbrush, a pen, soap.
Socle highlights everyday life objects, putting them on a pedestal giving them them a particular aesthetics. My job here was to explain the genesis of this project through 4 typographic structures which look like an actual socle.
I also did the poster, the social media banners, and the seating plan.
"What we need to question is brick, concrete, glass, our table manners, our ustensils, our tools,
the way we spend our time, our rhythms. To question that which seems to have ceased forever to astonish us" Georges Perec, L’infra-ordinaire.
Just like Georges Perec questions, Socle yearn for enhancing the ordinary.
